Here are some tips for you to improve your enjoyment of the Volcano Vaporizer. Enjoy!

- Grind your herbs as finely as possible. The finer you grind your herbs the more effective becomes the vaporiazation method because you increase the surface. The Volcano comes with a grinder which is very good for this. You can also get an electric coffee grinder like Snoop Dogg uses in the Up in Smoke DVD :D

- Always let the Volcano heat up for a few minutes before using it!

- You can vaporize the same herbs several times. Don’t overdo it though. When the stuff changes colour and loses smell its time to throw it away ;)

- When you have sensitive lungs and a Volcano hit makes you cough try lower settings. You don’t have to use the Volcano at the highest setting!

- To make the Volcano experience even more enjoyable, hook the Volcano up with a bong to cool the vapor. Check this post to see how to use the Volcano Vaporizer with a bong!

    2. I personally use the vaped bud as “tobacco” for spliffs when I am out at parties/places where vaporizers are impractical. It is the best replacement for tobacco in spliffs I have ever found. It makes smoking “pure” joints much less knockout and harsh/tickly.

    You can also use the vaped bud to create cannabutter so don’t be throwing it away!!

    One final piece of info for you - I am about to try bong with volcano as per this youtube video (hilarious guy in it btw!) http://www.youtube.com/verify_age?&next_url=/watch%3Fv%3DPEiQ430v0TM . You don’t need any special addon… it’s so simple to do. You just need any bong with a glass bowl… press the mouthpiece against glass bowl and suck in through the water. I am hoping that using this technique will allow me less sore throat/tight chested syndrome. Bong arrives tomorrows!

    3. Thats great advice about smoking the vaped bud in joints. In coffeeshops they lay that stuff on the table for smoking too, but somehow i never tried it out.

    4. STEAMY TIP:
    Get your fingers wet under the tap, and then flick a few droplets of tapwater onto the top of the packed herb in your canister (before the lid goes on).

    Next, place the screen/lid on. Place on top of Volcano & run the fan.

    Enjoy the slightly moister, slightly warmer steambag. Less coughing.

    Also….our recipe for heat is this:

    Turn the dial to 9 and let Volcano heat until control light goes off. TURN OFF HEAT AT THIS POINT AND *THEN* RUN THE FAN. I find if I leave the heat “on” while doing the fan part (whether at 7, 8, or 9), it results in a “nutty” flavour that obscures the nicer herbal flavour.
